Pursuing Balance seeks to cut through that crap and provide you with practical information you can put to use every day. I’ll describe habits that I’ve utilized to help make my day more productive. There will be information on setting goals that you are excited about. Goal you want to achieve.
There will be workout suggestions, presented through evidence from scientific literature and personal experience. There will be tactics and some hacks – but there will be no short cuts around hard work.

I’ve been collecting experiences for 40+ years and now am eager to share what I’ve learned.
In the spring/summer of 2010, I weighed in at 135lbs of weakling. I slept like crap, ate like crap, and couldn’t run a lap around the track without being totally gassed. I remember beginning to think about working out and mentioning it to a family member. They joked, “You? You’ll be a skinny weakling forever.” It was at that moment that my resolve finally solidified and I began this journey into fitness and improving how I lived my life.
Since that time I’ve put on about 35lbs. I am stronger than I’ve ever been, I feel healthier, I have more energy, I’m more productive at work, I sleep better, and have better relationships with my wife and kids. And the way it’s changed my body has been pretty good too.
